INSPIRED BY ITALY,
WITH A SCOTTISH TWIST
Opened in 1914, Rizza’s ice cream is now managed by the fourth generation of the Rizza family in the same corner of Scotland where it began. Rizza’s real dairy ice cream is made with cream from local dairies and we're proud to be a household name for customers in the North East, Highlands and beyond.
The Rizza's Way
4th Generation Knowledge
Ice cream knowledge passed down through four generations of the Rizza family.
Supporting Local Producers
Whether using quality ingredients to add to our products, collaborating on new ice cream flavours or wholesaling goods, we always endeavour to support local produce.
We are incredibly proud of all of our ice cream, sorbets and plant-based products and we have been delighted to win our fair share of awards over the years!
We've made the move from single-use plastic to recyclable packaging, changed our lighting to LED and installed 700+ solar panels throughout our purpose-built ice cream factory.
WE KNOW OUR SUPPLIERS
We take as much pride in our range of local suppliers as we do our ice cream. That’s why all of our suppliers are carefully sourced. Supplying the best of the North East is important, so no matter whether it's traybakes, artisan bread or lemonade it's just as local as the milk and cream we use for our ice cream.
AWARD WINNING ICE CREAM
We're so proud of our award-winning ice creams, sorbets and plant-based products — and the awards judges agree!
